I got the engine code P1406 on my Chevrolet, how do you clean EGR valve?

Hi there,

to clean the egr, you can remove it and look at the pintal. If it's covered with carbon you can use brake cleaner and a small wire brush to clean it. Also use a coat hanger and the brake cleaner to clear the tube to the egr. Many times the tube is plugged off with carbon and it causes this code.
