P0414 - how do i track down the short in my 06 s type

Question

The code reader says, "secondary air injection switching valve + circuit shorted." Can I replace this valve/switch myself, and can I trace this short? Some forums have suggested a pin test. What is this? How and where can I preform this? Fuses/relay is fine.
