The code 7E9 is not an OBDII code. When the OBDII scanner plugs in your vehicle, the OBDII scanner gets the 7E9 ($7E9) code from the ECM. The code is a menu of systems that the OBDII scanner can access. OBDII scanner interprets the code and displays the menu. Some scanners can't solve these codes and show the codes instead of the interpretation. Clicking on the code menu will read the OBDII codes (e.g. P0420 or P0455), if any, from that system.

Menu Code 7E8 ($7E8): Engine System

Menu Code 7E9 ($7E9): Transmission System

Menu Code 7EA ($7EA): Engine Management

And then what?
After an oil change my ABS and ECU light now came on. I had them use the diagnostic scan tool and they said that my front right wheel sensor was triggering these codes. Do I have to now replace that sensor?
