where is the abs/tcs communication line located on an 03 nissan maxima?

The P1212 code means that the Engine Control Module (ECM) is not communicating with the ABS/TCS control module. Both control modules communicate through wires in the harness. Either a wire is broken or one of the control modules is faulty. 

 

Sometimes the connectors of the control modules are not making good contact. You could try disconnecting the ABS/TCS control module and reconnect again.  Also, make sure car battery is fully charge.
