P0430 Jeep -

Question

I have a 430 code that keeps coming on so far I have had the catalyst converters replaced the map sensor replaced and was told that the O2 sensors are working fine. I don't know what to do next the light keeps coming on. What next.?

Hi there,

The fuel trim for bank 2 need to be checked and I would also do a leak down test. If you have carbon buildup on the valves or the timing is off just a bit it can lean out that bank. If you have a leaking fuel injector or bad set of spark plugs that don't burn the fuel clean enough you can get the code. Sometimes the aftermarket converters don't do the job well enough and you have to go with the dealer converter.
