Could this code be caused by a bad battery or a vehicle sitting for some time with a bad/weak battery?
Specifically a 2000 Ford Taurus?

Vehicle: 2000 Ford Taurus 3.0

Hi there,

This is not actually caused by the battery, but if the car has been sitting long enough it is possible the canister vent valve is rusted. That would not be uncommon at all.
