2003 Chrysler PT GT 2.4L Turbocharged with engine code P0121

2003 Chrysler PT GT 2.4L Turbocharged engine runs smoothly. Suddenly the engine will die, as if the ignition switch is turned off. It always happens when the car is stopped at a stop sign or stoplight. The engine restarts immediately, and engine runs smoothly as usual. The check engine light comes on. A check of the ECM always shows error code P0121. I replaced throttle position sensor. Problem still recurs intermittently. It may be as long as several months before this condition occurs again, with no other problems to point to, and engine runs smoothly until the next occurrence.

This usually points to a problem with either the PCM or the wiring to the TPS. It could also be a faulty ground wire causing the issue as well.
