Replaced Intake air tempture but still trips code in ford explorer 1998

Question

How can i check it to see if it is working properly. I have replaced it several times but doesn't seem to matter. Wondering if there is a way to test the wires them selves. Please let me know if i can do an oms test and what it should be. Or how i should test them please. I am pretty sure that they aren't a closed circut. And is there a way to complete it to fake the ecm out and see if it is the wiring or the part itself without hurting anything?
