2011 jeep patriot, engine missing, code p0455

Question

Engine started missing a little bit, mostly when accelerating slowly around 40 mph. Gradually got worse. Then sat in driveway for 3 weeks workout being started. After starting again, check engine light came on and engine was missing worse than ever. Got so bad I didn't know if it would make it down the road. Only gives diagnostic code p0455. Any suggestions?

P0455 EVAP system large leak

These are seperate issues, If the purge solenoid was stuck open it would cause the vehicle to have a lean misfire but at idle, and part throttle .Slowly accelerating at 40 mph . this event would rule out the purge solenoid, it would also set a 02 sensor lean code condition. Igntion coil would be the first suspected which would cause the misfire condition.

 Igntion coil would be the first suspected for the misfire condition. You can clear the code, allow to idle and recheck the code that is set,
