P0705 Nissan - replaced engine now wont go in reverse

Question

Had the engine in a 2009 nissan rogue and now it wont go in reverse everything else is ok. revs real high while in drive and dosent get up and go what could be the problem asked three mechanics they tested the tranny and said it was fine. Anyone have any ideas. It popped the code for the Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid Valve which explains the gas going everywhere when I goto pump it. It also says Parking Netural Position Switch as well. Im going to have the computer reprogrammed. Could this help both problems. the reverse and the gas issue?

HI there,

The code is for the pnp switch, but it indicates it's possible it's mis adjusted. If it is, it could be causing the shifting issue with the transmission. Not sure reprogramming is going to resolve this issue.
