HAVE AN 2006 NISSAN XTERRA 4.0 WITH DTC P0850 P/N SWITCH CIRCUIT, WHERE DO I FIND TEST FOR SWITCH AND WHERE IS SWITCH?

The PNP switch is located on the top of the transmission. The best way to test it is with an ohm meter. Simply disconnect the harness connector, then see if the switch loses contimuity when switched out of park. If not, then the switch is no good and needs to be replaced.
