My 2007 toyota rav4 has a P0983 code Shift solenoid D control circuit high?

P0983 Shift solenoid D control circuit high

This solenoid is for shift solenoid S4. when there is a code for circuit high this is more of a disconnection on the shift solenoid , or a open circuit of the shift solenoid, the open circuit can be at the harness into the ECM of the shift solenoid itself.

To access the shift soldnoid you would need to remove the transmission pan and filter, the shift solenoid is located in the valve body of the transmission
