2004 Mini Cooper Base 1.6L with engine code P0455. What do I need to do to fix this? My Mini Cooper starts stalling and stalling until it turns off. This is the code given to me by the computer P0455. What do I do?

This code is for a large leak in the evap system. This is usually caused by either a bad fuel cap, vent control valve, or a sticking purge control solenoid. More often than not the vent control valve sticks open and allows for a large leak.
You can remove the vent control valve, add power and ground, and listen for it clicking. If you don't hear any noise, it's no good and should be replaced.
If the purge control valve is stuck open it might be causing the engine to run rough and stall, but I believe the code is not related to the stalling. You need to look for large vacuum leaks or a faulty fuel pump or mass air flow sensor.
