Changed the plugs , still shows po353 when scanned ?? Do this coil need to be replaced ??

Vehicle: 1998 ford f150 5.4 triton lariat 4x4

Hi there,

The coil is the likely suspect, but before you purchase a new one, swap this one with the one next to it. Then clear the cel and drive the truck. When the light comes back on check the code, if the misfire is now on a different cylinder you know it's the coil causing the problem. If the code is on the same cylinder, then you need to look at the wiring, the fuel injector and engine compression.
