P0722 Acura TL 20007- It's leaking transmission fluid. Is it normal with this code?

i got code p0722. Transmission won't go in reverse and its low gear in forward. Automatic transmission but when u shift it on manual shift nothing appears on dash. It's leaking transmission fluid. Is it normal for the sensor to do this

P0722 Problem in the output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor circuit (no signal input)

No this is not normal for this sensor to do this, if you have no reverse.and low gear in foward . The shift solenoids can cause this where there is no reverse and low in foward gear, the reason for setting a P0722 is the transmission can not shift properly you are more than likely will have a failed transmission internal mechanical condition
