Having no idea how long the trans had been in limp mode, the trans fluid looks fairly dirty and low would it bee with draining the trans and flushing it to try and remedy the situation our am I wasting time and should just replace the shift solenoid "a"?

Vehicle: 01 lexus gs300 3.0 2jz

P0753 Shift solenoid A electrical malfunction (shift solenoid valve No.1)

You may just have to replace more than one shift solenoid. When there is a P0753 check for other transmisison code that may have come along with P0753, Flushing the transmission will not help remedy this code
