P0730 Honda - crv

Question

My car has code PO301, 700 and 730. I was told to get a rebuilt transmission for $2700. I just paid $2000 for vehicle from family member and I cannot afford to put out another $3000 right now.

My temporary registration expire soon so I need to complete the dmv registration by getting a smog check. Can the SUV pass smog with these two codes? Please advice me at your earliest time.

P0301 Misfire number 1 cylinder

P0700 Transmission fault detected

P0730 Incorrect gear ratio

What the year of the vehicle. Depnding on the year of this vehicle , the misfire condition can produce a P0730 which is the incorrect gear ration. and no the smog check will fail . Anytime the CK ENG LT is on the vehicle is in a emission violation. It would be also a good practice to check the condition of the transmission fluid, low transmision fluid condition can and do set transmission faults.
