P0013 Chevrolet - would the car not turn on

Question

The car is not turning on. Had to jump it so it would start up. Now it won't even crank. Went to the auto parts store and got the engine light scanned and two codes came up P0013 and P0014. Now car won't start. Don't want to go and buy a new battery if it's not needed

P0013 Intake camshaft position actuator solenoid valve control circuit

P0014 Exhaust camshaft postion actuator solenoid valve control circuit

Both these codes , the engine would still start up, when these code appear it only when the engine is running, Other reason for a engine to not start can cause these code to appear.
