If you have replaced the gas cap and the light won't clear, then there is a fairly good chance that's not the issue. This code covers so many possible bad componants that you really need to have a smoke test done of the evap system to find the leak. If you are looking to save money, pay for the correct diagnosis and then do the repair yourself. Because this code has so many possibilities it's important they all be tested.
