P1320 Nissan - P1320 and P0300 show up on my 01 maxima

Question

I took my 01maxima to the shop forba diagnostic and the codes P 1320 and P0300 showed. He said its my coils. Them I took it to another tech and he said its my can position sensor. I need help please I dont want to buy the wrong parts

Hi there,

The codes are pointing towards an issue with the coils and not the cam sensor. Typically you will get a cam sensor code when you have a faulty cam sensor. You have a primary ignition code, which is for the coils and a multiple misfire code which can also happen because of bad coils.
