P0480 2007 Ford Fusion -

I have already replaced the fan assembly and the fan control relay bolted the fan shroud the A/C compressor will kick on then right back off. I have vacuumed the system down then recharged it to make sure it had the correct amount of Freon in it . If I take a hot wire to the new fan it will come on. I'm stuck can you help

HI there,

There could be a short between the fan control relay and the PCM. I would check the wiring harness to the computer from the relay. You know the wiring from the relay to the fan is good because when you jump it, it will run. Here is some more info on the problem.
