P1143 Nissan Xterra 2002. Where is the oxygen sensor, please?

Hi there,

The code is for the heated O2 sensor, sensor 1. The problem is it's not specific to the bank 1 or bank 2. Without a scan tool you can't really determine which sensor is not functioning properly, all we really know is one of the front sensors isn't working like it should. These are located in the exaust manifolds just above the catalytic converters.
