The mechanic wants to charge me 195.99 for labor to replace the throttle positioning sensor and throttle peddle sensor. I have no clue how much the parts are. He also recommends a transmission flush for 99.99. That is close to $300 for labor and flush. Can I replace these myself and do I need to do the flush? Please help

Thank you,

Tricia

Throttle positioning sensor and throttle pedel sensor and transmission flush. What is  the vehilce  doing. This is why it is imporatnt to gather any code condition that the vehicle has, yes it is good to service the transmission according to its mileage, But as for the TPS (Throtttle position sensor)  and the APP (accelerator pedal position) is there any code indication for either of these sensor, that has to be known,
