Question

im just curiuos. i change intake manifold gasket.fuel pump w/ 70 psi pcv and hose.clean the map sensor but still keep coming po174 then when i test drive a reach only 60 miles lack of power.what else do i need to change parts thank you for your kind consideration on this matter

Hi Walter,

This code indicates a lean condition. This is usually caused by a faulty mass air flow sensor, but it's not limited to just that. Because it is a lean code and with the symptom you are describing I think it is possible you might have a plugging catalytic converter. This will put exhaust gas into the combustion chamber and cause a lean mixture reading from the front AF sensor. Since it happens after the car heats up I would check that first.
