Hi there,

The P0325 code is for the knock sensor. This code is on in most of the Nissans I have worked on. This code won't turn the check engine light on and likely is not causing the problem. The concern here is the P0171 code. This code is for a lean fuel mixture. This will cause rough idle and can also cause stalling. This code is commonly caused by an intake air vacuum leak. If the van is idling rough you can check for this. With the engine running, spray some carb cleaner around the intake manifold and vacuum ines. If the idle smooths out or increases then you know you have a vacuum leak. This code can also be caused by a faulty front O2 sensor on bank 1 or a bad mass air flow sensor. Having a scan tool to check those two items can really help with this.
