P0300 Dodge -

i have a 2009 ram 1500 4x4, I have been getting a misfire on #3 as well as an occasional rapid misfire. the truck runs fine on the road until I try to pass someone, then it has a hesitation for a few miles then it clears up. ive changed plug, coil packs and the injector on that cylinder. I still cant find the cause?

Misfire number 3 cylinder, as you try to pass someone, The misfire condition occurs under load, this is more than likely with a igntion coil , You may just have to check the other cylinder condition . Try this clear the code, create a misfire condition at the number 3 at idle. whether it is a igntion coil disconnection and see what cylinder your scan tool displays. When it comes to scan tool and Chrysler The scan tool may just not identify that misfire cylinder correctly.
