Ford F-150 Supercrew 3.7L V-6 2011 year model. How do I fix throttle actuator stuck open. What to do, or do I have to take to dealer for fix? Truck runs fine until the open end wrench displays on display . Then it runs very bad and power is cut to limp mode

P0068 Throttle actuator control (TAC) system - stuck open

This code condition occurs when there is a binding of the throttle actuator, before anything do a KOER (Key on engine running test) and test for a faulty TPS sensor. A faulty TPS sensor can set a P2111 and so can a faulty MAF (Mass airflow) these 2 area need to be ruled out before do anything to the TAC.

This is the TPS sensor on the throttle body, do a KOER test . if the TPS code replace the TPS. If it does not replace the TAC for binding.
