If you still have the code after sensor replacement, then you need to check the wiring for the sensor itself. To do this you will need a volt meter. In the diagram of the connector it shows what each pin is used for. Use this as a guide to make sure you have the required power and grounds.
If the car won't start then you could also have a broken timing belt.
