P0011 Infiniti -

Hi there
I have Infiniti FX35 2004
I just changed the oil and filter I drove back from the dealer the and The engine light came on
I went and checked the code wasP0011 should I just change the camshaft of crankshaft or what to do please advise.

HI Brad,

This code can be complicated without a scan tool to be able to see what the computer is seeing. Generally you start with replaceing the cam sensor on bank 1. If its not reading or reading properly then you will get the code for the variable intake timing control solenoid.

If you replace it and it doens't resolve the problem, then usually the next step would be to replace the solenoid itself. You might be better off having this diagnosed properly, then doing the repair yourself to save some money.
