P1089 after driving the car 8 -10 miles and then letting it sit for two to three hours then tried to drive it again and code appeared and card went into limp mode?

You may have to replace the VVEL Control Shaft Position Sensor Bank 1, but you should make sure the engine oil level and condition is OK first. Change engine oil if necessary and if possible use nissan oil ester 5W-30
