P0708 -sets intermittently after NSBU switch replacement,what next?

2004 chevy c5500 ,allison 1000. on and off problems with p0708,made repairs to wiring harness in a few places and replaced NSBU switch. shifts good for several weeks then code pops up again and goes into default mode stranding the driver. any help would be great! thanx.
