P0463 Chevrolet -

Question

I just had my 05 Malibu with a 2.2L Ecotec engine serviced, the intake manifold was clogged and smoke was blowing out the tailpipe. i put a bottle of injector in the tank and filled up with gas
on the drive home the car blew the P0463 code
Is is possible that the injector cleaner caused this false positive?

P0463 Fuel level sensor circuit high voltage

It depends on  some fuel injector cleaner product that is being used. Fuel injector poducts that contains acetons , methanol additives can do damage to the fuel system.
