P0036 Chevrolet - Upstream or downstream O2 Sensor ?

I have a check engine light on. The dealership said that I need an oxygen sensor. Does P0036
indicate the upstream or downstream O2 sensor is bad ?

Vehicle: 2009 Chevy Aveo 1.6 Liter Engine

P0036 H02S Heater control circuit  Sensor 2

Sensor 2 are catalytic monitor sensor or downstream 02 sensor, You would need the downstream 02 sensor
