2003 F150 SUPERCREW.I got error code P1405 what do I need to replace? Any help greatly appreciated

P1405 DPFE sensor circuit upstream hose

This code condition is for the EGR system. When P1405 occurs the EGR is non operational,

 On the Ford EGR system you have a EGR valve, a EGR solenoid , and a DPFE sesnor

 P1405 the DPFE sensor does not see the exhaust back pressure, the hose that attaches to it are from a exhaust system with 2 different sizes in having its proper place, You would have to make sure the hoses are attatched and with the engine runniing you have exhaust flow out

 If everything is fine there , you would need a DPFE sensor
