Loses spark, ddies, cool down runs again, does after 5 to 10 mins dies

Question

Got on Chevy website and reassured that it was crank sensor..was setting 0300 random misfire..changed crank sensor and does same thing but pulls 0336 code. Engine has 290,000 and could a stretched timing chain throw off parameters and stop firing? Fuel pressure around 60 psi

P0336 Crank position sensor "A" circuit range perfromance

When you have a P0336 this mean that the CKP is intermittent,  The CKP can set a P0300 if the CKP has a hairline crack which can occur and a labscope would be a good tool to use.  A stretch timing chain would not cause the CKP to be intermittent. If the timing chain ever was stretch you would have low power . and a running rich condition. If you had a P0300 originaly and there was no CKP code before something happens with the installation of the CKP connection. not making a proper connection , That or the CKP is not that great. and anytime you replace the CKP a CKP system variation relearn has to be perfromed.. Because the engine has 290,000 mile it be better you do not perfom it. will not set a CK ENG LT .
