I recently replaced the camshaft and crankshaft sensors on my 2006 Nissan Altima 2.5 S. OBD codes were PO725 and PO335. Car now runs fine, idles at 700 rpms, BUT, it starts harder than normal, shutters when starting....starts in about 3 seconds...Check Engine Light stays on though? I have reset the Ck Engine Light...comes back on? Whats up? Do I need a reflash or reprogram of ECM or TCM or replace Engine Speed Sensor? What a joke...NIssan! Thanks in advance for any help.
Sincerely
Scott S.

Hi there,

The most common cause for these codes together as you know is the crank position sensor. The most common cause after the replacement of the sensor is an aftermarket sensor is used, the wiring is not connected properly or the O ring from the old sensor is still stuck to the engine block.
