On the definition of this code, it points out the definition is all the same but specifically points out the possibles and causes for a ford. I have a Chevrolet. My question is... On a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4.8L V8, where do I test the fuel pressure? When I do get that answer, how do I find the fuel pressure sensor on my truck? I've looked a couple of times now and I haven't been able to locate it. But if anyone does have any answers, is it a problem that I have this code and P0449 which is the evaporative emissions solenoid vent valve/canister and the third one was P063E.
I really do appreciate any attempts to help me out here. Thanks.
P0191 Fuel rail pressure sensor performance
P0449 Evaporative emssion (EVAP) vent solenoid control circuit
The location of the fuel pressure sensor is near the front part of the fuel tank next to the ABS module, in between the fuel tank and ABS module.
You can use a scan tool that would give you the fuel pressure the specifications are 50 -60 psi with key on engine off.
