code po306. misfire 6 suv shakes alot when shifted into reverse

Question

The codes red misfire # 6 ...could it be the fuel injector#6..if so we're is it located...thanks any feed back would be appreciated. ..code po306..

Hi there,

It is possible the fuel injector is the problem, but a faulty ignition coil is much more common. I would swap the ignition coil on #6 with one of the others and see if the misfire moves with it. If it does, then you know the coil is the problem.
