P0335 - intermittent engine cutout at various speeds

Question

P0335 is the only code shown by the pedal test.
Engine cuts out for a few seconds at random times and at random speeds.

Engine warning light comes on, goes out after a few seconds.

Replaced the Crankshaft sensor, no change.

Otherwise the engine starts every time and runs sweetly.
