Changed the wires and plugs per dealer specs for my van. Drove it 55 kms and turned a corner it almost stalled and the check engine light came on. The rest of the drive home no power wouldn'the go into passing gear almost stalls if gas pedal pressed. Got home and found out the code, p0339, crankshaft sensor. My question is if the stock plugs were not gapped properly would this be the result

P0339 Crankshaft position sensor intermittent

The gap on the sparkplug would not cause P0339, the wrong type of sparkplug installed would cause a Camshaft sensor code condition and a bit of a rough idle. The sparkplug not necessarrily will cause a P0339. You  need to replace the crankshaft position sensor. . When you do replace the crank shaft position sensor you would also need to perform a crankshaft postiion relearn. and a battery disconnect relearn.. To do the relearn perform three close throttle decel from a stabilzed speed of 65 mph to 45 mph.
