P0501 KIA -where is the vss located

My abs light, esc off, and tpms light are on and my code reads vehicle speed sensor a range..I'm trying to find location of sensor and how difficult it may be to change on my own..what does the a range mean?is there more than one?

P0501 Vehicle speed sensor  (VSS) range/ perfromance

The VSS generate a wave form that is proportional to the speed of the vehicle, If the VSS is not proportional to the the speed of the vehicle it is considered out of range.To be out of perfromance this would be some what of a harness problem.

If your vehicle has a ABS light that is on, it means the system is disabled, There are 2 possible reason for this .When the CK ENG LT comes on the vehicle is no longer operating at manufactuer specification, so for safety the ABS and TRAC are disabled.The second reason is that you may have a failed RT front wheel speed sensor problem.For now replace the  vehicle speed sensor , This is not a difficult sensor to replace,just getting to it is difficult which is at the lower part of the transmission.
