I have changed all of the sparks plugs, one coil and one vanos solenoid. My car still runs poorly and has the same code P0305 after clearing all codes and test driving multiple time. Whats my next move?

P0305 Misfire number 5 cylinder

Did the vehicle over heat.? If this was a injector you would obviously have a P0205., When you removed the number 5 cylinder sparkplug was it wet. ? Check to see if the cooling system is over pressurized

Here is a upper radiator hose, when there is a misfire and the vehicle is at operating temperature, squeeze the upper radiator or a cooling hose. if it is hard like a rock you have combustion in the radiator. or you can do a leak down test and open the radialtor cap and see if there is leakage into the cooling system , if so you do a head gasket.

On this BMW the ignition coil is not fully seated, I can lift up on one the igntion coil and just listen for a ignition spark, make sure yours have spark on number 5 cylinder
