2004 maxima code p1273 came out ,i replace sensor bank 1, 2 days latter same code again

Question

I have a 2004 Nissan Maxima and code p1273 came out so i replace Air fuel sensor bank 1 with is the upstream rear one and 2 days latter the same code again so i dont know what to do any more!

HI there,

This code will reappear if you don't clear the fuel trims. You need a scan tool to do this or to disconnect the battery for at least 24 hours. The code returns because the computer is using the long term fuel trims which were created when the sensor was bad. This results in the code returning.
