I bought a 2002 toyota camry form a bank repo auction. Car won't start and this code comes up. What should I do?

B2796 No communication in immoblizer system

Do you have the proper key? Right in the steering column along the  near near the igntion switch is the transponder  coil, , if anything it is a failed unit, and replacement would be needed, Because this is a REPO car it possible  it was tampered with  so it would not start. If the engine crank and does not start , then what this anti theft does is diables the EFI relay. Try this lock and unlock the driver or passenger car door, with the key. see if that works,
