C0040 Right front wheel speed sensor circuit

The DTC will clear when the diagnostic runs and passes.  which would be the moment the vehicle goes on the road.or the use of a scan tool that has ABS capabilty to clear the code.

When a wheel speed sensor for a Chevy is set the use of a scan tool or labscope should be used to determine if it truly is the wheel speed sensor, the ABS code C0040  mean the abscent of wheel speed sensor right front. Here a labscope was used and determined that the ABS  right front was working, the problem end up being the EBCM (electronic brake control module) .
