P0741 code on my 2002 chevy Malibu. the rpm increases without the car moving faster

tachometer shows slippage when accelerating in my 2002 Chevy Malibu. I have a P0741 troublecode.

P0741 TCC (torque convertor clutch)  circuit perfromance or stuck off

When this code condition set it is due to the slipping of the transmission , this will not cause the transmission to slip.This may be due to a worn transmission
