P0753 Isuzu -

Question

On my 2001 isuzu trooper 4l30-e transmission - wouldn't shift out of 1st gear so I pulled both pans off and checked all 5 solenoids. The 2/3 (b) shift solenoid the low band solenoid and the tcc lockup solenoids wouldn't click so rereplaced all 5 per what I read on some forums was the best thing to do since it was apart. The fluid was black and looked like 20 year old used motor oil so cleaned what I could with brake clean and air pressure reassembled the main valve body put new fluid and filter in test drove it and it still wouldn't shift out of 1st gear. The clutches look good still and everyone I showed the picture to said the same. After the test drive hooked up the actron 9185 to it and it popped up code P0753 shift a solenoid ckt electrical. Before starting all of this there were no check engine light or check transmission light. I have read where one guy had his go into limp mode because of an exhaust leak on the manifold. Can anyone help me diagnose. Thanks
