P0172 2003 Toyota Highlander -

Question

Every so often I press on gas pedal and nothing happens car won't excel. Seems like it won't kick into gear or not getting any gas. Happens a lot now and car seems to sputter as I'm driving. This can happen while driving or after I stop and start moving again.
