Nissan sentra 2001. Break and battery lights on, after new alternator installed

My 2001 Nissan sentra doesn't recognize any Code Reader scanner. And BREAK and BATTERY lights are on .after a new alternator was installed. Help please

For the battery light , right at the positive battery connection there are fuses, one of them is a 10 amp fuse check that area if there is a no charge condition, As for the scan tool that does not read this vehicle , at the front interior floor board is where the ECM is located, tap it gently, and recheck for scan tool communication.
