P0605 Nissan -

Question

I was told the code was the PCM was showing an ROM error. Im slightly confused. Is the pcm the same as the ECM? The code I get is p0605.

The PCM and ECM are the same thing. Some car makers call it a pcm, while others call it the ecm. PCM is powertrain control module, the ECM is the engine control module. With this code, you do likely need a new ECM. Nissan calls them ECM's. P1273 is a code for one of the O2 sensors, however I would wait until the new ecm was installed and see if the code returns before chasing the code.
